Overview

We are seeking a professional and organized Health Insurance Administrative Assistant and Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This role is vital in providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth office operations. The ideal candidate will have strong office management skills, experience with medical and dental reception duties, and proficiency with various office software. Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively serve diverse patient populations. Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors at the front desk with professionalism and courtesy
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, routing calls efficiently and providing excellent customer support
  • Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate patient visits using office management software
  • Handle data entry, filing, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
  • Assist with billing, bookkeeping, and insurance claim processing using QuickBooks or similar tools
  • Provide administrative support including proofreading documents, managing correspondence, and organizing files
  • Support medical reception duties such as verifying insurance information and updating patient data
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to ensure a welcoming environment
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace for document creation, email communication, and scheduling
  • Demonstrate effective phone etiquette and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently

Skills

  • Proven experience in office management, clerical work, or administrative support within healthcare settings
  • Strong computer literacy including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools
  • Experience with QuickBooks or bookkeeping is preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong typing skills and attention to detail for data entry and proofreading tasks
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette
  • Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse patient populations
  • Knowledge of medical receptionist duties, dental receptionist roles, or personal assistant experience is advantageous
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and professionalism

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
