Omaha, Nebraska, United States Midwest Regional Health Services Full time

About the Role

Are you a high-energy, compassionate professional who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment?

Join our independent family practice where teamwork, patient relationships, and professional growth come first. We're looking for a motivated Nurse or Medical Assistant to support our providers and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

If you're organized, detail-oriented, and love helping people — this could be the perfect fit

What You'll Do

  • Complete patient intake: record vitals, review medications and allergies, gather social and family histories, and document accurately
  • Assist providers with minor procedures, perform EKGs, administer immunizations, and handle phlebotomy and in-house lab processing
  • Process prescription refills and return patient phone calls
  • Relay lab results within your scope of practice
  • Provide cross coverage as part of our Clinical Support Team — answering patient calls, scheduling appointments, processing refills, and relaying results with professionalism and care

What We're Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing or Medical Assisting program
  • Current Nebraska LPN license or Medical Assistant certification
  • Nebraska Medication Aide licensure preferred (we'll help you obtain it if needed)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical clinic preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with a genuine passion for patient care
  • Ability to work independently and stay calm under pressure

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • Independent, physician-owned practice — we prioritize patients, not quotas
  • Supportive, close-knit team that values collaboration and fun at work
  • 4 day work week, no holidays
  • Opportunities to learn and grow through cross-training and professional development
  • Meaningful relationships with patients and families in a trusted community clinic

If you're ready to join a team that combines professional excellence with compassion and teamwork, we want to meet you

Apply today and grow your career with Midwest Regional Health Services.
