Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Associate to join the Insurance Practice Group at an AmLaw 100 firm. This role requires 3 to 5 years of experience and a strong background in corporate transactions, insurance regulatory matters, and insurance transaction-specific deals.

The ideal candidate should possess demonstrated experience advising clients in maintaining compliance with wide-ranging and complex insurance regulatory laws and conducting complex due diligence related to insurance regulatory issues that arise in merger and acquisition transactions. Sophisticated drafting skills and the ability to manage multiple transactions and complex projects are required, commensurate with the class year of the candidate.

Qualifications

  • Experience representing insurers, reinsurers, and other insurance-related entities, such as general agencies and third-party administrators, in transactions, restructurings, reinsurance transactions, and M&A matters, as well as experience counseling clients on a broad range of regulatory matters.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with corporate transactions, insurance regulatory matters, and insurance transaction-specific deals.
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Excellent law school credentials.
  • Active bar membership

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $350,000.00 per year
