Our client, a non-profit organization providing housing and services to homeless and formerly homeless populations, is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the position of Case Manager for their Bronx location. The Case Manager will report directly to the site Director of LGBTQ Supportive Housing.

  • Salary: $60k $65k

Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individual and group mental health counseling as well as developing service plans for residents.
  • Interviewing and assessing all housing applicants and completing all necessary documentation for NY/NYIII Housing referrals.

Required Qualifications:

  • MSW (Master Social Work)
  • Plus, a minimum of 3 years of postgraduate experience in the field is required.
  • Additional requirements include experience working with homeless youth and in particular awareness and cultural sensitivity to LGBT youth issues and concerns.
  • Work experience in a residential setting is preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19; or have received a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine, even if two weeks have not passed since you have received the vaccine; or you must have received the first dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine.
