We are currently seeking a Computer Support Technician-iPhone & Pager Support to join our team in Los Angeles, California (US-CA), United States (US).
Job Title: Hospital Mobile Device Technician - iPhone & Pager Support
Location: On-site (Los Angeles Hospital Campus)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Remote Work: Not available
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused technician to support the provisioning, maintenance, and transition of mobile devices - including iPhones and pagers - within a hospital environment. This is a highly visible role requiring direct interaction with clinical staff, executives, and other hospital personnel. The ideal candidate will be proactive, technically proficient, and committed to improving existing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provision and maintain iPhones and pagers for hospital staff.
- Transition mobile devices between approved cellular carriers when employees leave or change roles.
- Provide in-person technical support across all hospital departments, including doctors and executives.
- Document all procedures clearly and consistently for internal reference and training.
- Write professional, friendly, and clear email communications.
- Track inventory and ensure accurate records of device assignments and returns.
- Identify and suggest improvements to current workflows and support processes.
- Collaborate with IT and administrative teams to ensure seamless device management.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Solid understanding of iPhone setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with pager systems and hospital communication protocols.
- Experience with mobile device management (MDM) tools is a plus.
- Ability to document technical procedures and maintain organized records.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
