DC Engineering is seeking a driven, experienced and motivated Project Manager in Bentonville, AR with a strong engineering background to lead retail-focused projects on small to mid-sized chains. This role is ideal for someone with at least 4 years of engineering experience and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions in a dynamic retail environment.

  • Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with client expectations, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and construction partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Oversee technical aspects of projects, including mechanical, electrical, or refrigeration systems.
  • Provide design support as needed based on design schedules and workload.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues proactively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration Engineering (or related field).
  • Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience, preferably in the retail sector.
  • Proven experience managing projects and leading teams.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Revit.

Preferred Background:

  • Experience working with retail clients with prototypical designs.
  • Familiarity with supermarket engineered systems and the co-dependency of the electrical, mechanical and refrigeration systems and energy-efficient design practices.
