Overview

Join a passionate, in-home family daycare and preschool community rooted in foundations of family and nature. With a Reggio Emilia approach, we navigate the lives little ones and their families along their journey of early childhood, offering exciting and engaging opportunities both indoor and outdoor to support meaningful moments of learning and development.

Duties

  • Supervise children in the indoor classroom and outdoor classroom
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively with appropriate methods to create a conducive learning environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety and hygiene
  • Model appropriate behaviors for children
  • Prepare and serve meals according to health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with school staff to develop curriculum and that follows children's interests
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to help families achieve their developmental goals
  • Document learning by keeping written records, photographic records, and contributing to our social media community
  • Engage with families to establish a strong school-family relationship

Experience

  • Proven experience working with children in a childcare setting
  • Familiarity with lesson planning and curriculum development is a plus.
  • Strong skills to effectively handle diverse student behaviors.
  • Well-versed in social media use
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
  • CPR/First Aid certification
