San Francisco, California, United States Rippling Full time
About Rippling

Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.

Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.

Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.85B+ from the world's top investors — including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock — and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.

We prioritize candidate safety. Please be aware that all official communication will only be sent from addresses.

About the role

At Rippling, Product is central to how we build, scale, and deliver value to our customers. We are entering a pivotal new phase of growth—and product-led growth (PLG) will be a critical lever in accelerating Rippling's next chapter.

In this role, you will own PLG strategy and execution across the entire Rippling product surface. This role will define and orchestrate the end-to-end user journey—from onboarding and activation to retention, expansion, and monetization—ensuring that self-serve adoption becomes a durable and compounding growth engine for the company.

You will partner deeply with Product, Engineering, Data, Sales, and Marketing to identify inflection points across the funnel, ship high-leverage experiments, and build scalable systems that power bottom-up growth.

This is an exceptionally high-impact role: the work you do will shape the experience across Rippling for a new type of customer, and will directly unlock the next frontier of our revenue growth.

What you will do
  • You will define the company-wide PLG strategy, defining the vision, roadmap, and success metrics for product-led growth at Rippling.
  • You will identify and prioritize growth opportunities across activation, onboarding, product adoption, retention, and expansion.
  • You will identify, design, and ship new commercial use cases that empower more Rippling products to enter the market through self-serve and PLG-led funnels, expanding Rippling's bottom-up adoption and revenue footprint.
  • You will design and run high-velocity growth experiments, using data, user research, and rapid iteration to drive measurable impact.
  • You will partner closely with Product and Engineering team across the business to ship features that improve self-serve adoption and accelerate time-to-value.
  • You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to build hybrid motions that connect PLG funnels with sales-assisted motions and define what good looks like for other teams.
  • You will build a scalable growth system, including tooling, analytics, and frameworks for experimentation and measurement.
  • You will own growth analytics, ensuring that product usage and funnel metrics inform prioritization and strategy.
  • You will champion a cross-functional growth mindset, coaching teams on PLG best practices, hypotheses, and experimentation.
What you will need
  • At least 8+ years of experience in product management with at least 3 years focusing on growth products at PLG SaaS organizations; experience scaling products within a multi-product ecosystem is highly preferred.
  • Proven success working across multiple products or surface areas, identifying opportunities that holistically connect the customer experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and deliver material business impact.
  • Expertise in testing and experimentation best practices, with a strong track record of designing, running, and interpreting experiments.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to align stakeholders at all levels and guide decisions with clarity and conviction.
  • Hands-on analytical skillset, with the ability to independently dig into data and leverage product analytics tools (Amplitude, SQL, etc.).
  • Self-starter with a strong bias towards action and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where you won't be handed a playbook—you'll help write it.
  • Strong alignment with our leadership principles: in particular Go and See, and Are Right, a Lot.
  • Background in consumption-based or usage-based pricing model transitions.
About the team

The Core Experiences team builds the foundational, cross-product systems that power Rippling's unified workforce platform. We own the end-to-end company lifecycle—from onboarding and activation, to navigation and the foundational surfaces that guide users through the product. Our work shapes the critical journeys every customer interacts with, ensuring Rippling delivers a world-class experience for both local SMBs and large multinational corporations. We own and build the systems that support PLG and value discovery across Rippling's expanding product suite, enabling customers to intuitively unlock the right capabilities at the right moments. As Rippling continues to scale into new industries, geographies, and product lines, Core Experiences serves as the connective tissue that unifies the platform and accelerates growth.

Core Experiences plays a central role in shaping how users navigate and unlock value across Rippling's rapidly expanding suite of products. Our work is instrumental in Rippling's evolution from a sales-led single product startup into a global, multi-product platform used by tens of thousands of businesses—and this next phase of PLG will accelerate that trajectory even further.

As a newly established team at the center of Rippling's platform strategy, Core Experiences is in its earliest chapters—and you will play a foundational role in building the team's vision, systems, and long-term impact from the ground up.

If you don't necessarily meet all of these requirements, we still encourage you to apply. Skills transfer in unexpected ways, and diverse perspectives often lead to the most innovative solutions.
