As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the location. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution facility, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location.
• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations when necessary.
• Assist with the enforcement of company regulations related to access control and visitor management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Work collaboratively with site staff and law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters within the logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks may be present at the work location; this is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
