Siemens Digital Industries is looking for an experienced Strategic Account Manager for E-Mobility to identify and develop customer opportunities into successful solutions. This Vertical team is a growing and dynamic team that delivers solutions, products, and services to the accounts you will serve.

The successful candidate will be able to pair industry knowledge with an advanced automation and digitalization centric portfolio of solutions, to drive sales, establish customer preference and win specifications for Siemens in named national accounts across the midstream and downstream battery customer base. In addition, the Account Manager will be tasked with identifying and developing new accounts. Further, the role will be responsible for working in a matrix organization, coordination with other groups including portfolio specialists, engineering, and the global vertical market team to support the ecosystem in the most effective manner. Success will be measured on portfolio growth, customer pipeline development, and new customer conversions. The position reports to Vertical Sales Management in the United States.

We are looking for New Automotive Vertical Sales Account Manager to join our Automotive and Battery Vertical team. This position is remote, but candidate must be located on the eastern side of the continental, United States.
You'll make an impact by:

  • Developing the customer base for broad adoption of the entire Siemens Digital Enterprise portfolio
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to define, present, and deliver solutions developed jointly with the client
  • Analyze the customer's market, business targets & strategy, issues, needs, processes, value chain and key business drivers and effectively transfers this knowledge to the Siemens organizations and regions.
  • Represent the customer to the Siemens organizations and ensure a unified approach across segments and regions for the customer.

You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • 3+ years prior experience selling automation, robotics, and / or software solutions in manufacturing.
  • 8+ years Key Account Management/Senior Sales and related management experience with a track record of successful performance
  • Travel: 50%
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Battery manufacturing lifecycle expertise a plus
  • Executive-Level Communication & Presentation Skills
  • Extensive experience in team building, coordination, collaboration, and detailed strategy planning and execution
  • Broad experience in documenting projects / opportunities, contacts, project scope, and key decision makers within CRM tools. Salesforce software experience a plus.
