Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift (OT as needed)

Union: Local 158 Operating Engineers

We're a well-established, family-oriented heavy equipment dealership seeking a Shop Foreman / Lead Technician who knows how to get the job done right.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and support a team of shop technicians
  • Schedule and coordinate repair jobs with the Service Manager
  • Diagnose and repair heavy equipment systems (engines, hydraulics, transmissions, electrical)
  • Oversee maintenance and repair schedules for customers and rental fleet equipment
  • Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to high standards

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years in heavy equipment or diesel repair (minimum 5 years hands-on)
  • 4+ years of leadership or foreman experience in a shop environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Must have own tools
  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics
  • Proficiency with laptop diagnostics and service software
  • Team leader with a "no task beneath me" attitude
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Field or road service experience is a plus

Equipment You'll Work On

Excavators, wheel loaders, drills, crushing plants, articulating trucks, hydraulic breakers, and road wideners - including brands like Link-Belt, Hitachi, Sandvik, and Anaconda.
