We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Industrial Sales professional to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and expand our business within the industrial sector by leveraging your expertise in B2B sales, account management, and territory development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outside sales, management, and technical sales, with a proven track record of generating leads and closing deals through strategic customer engagement. This position involves managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service to drive growth and strengthen our market presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target industrial clients within assigned territories.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, lead generation, and networking.
- Manage existing accounts by providing ongoing support, upselling products, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to close sales effectively while maintaining profitability.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, manage customer data, and analyze sales performance.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that enhance brand visibility and lead acquisition.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product offerings, industry trends, and competitors' activities to inform sales strategies.
- Manage territory operations efficiently through territory management techniques, ensuring coverage and growth targets are met.
- Provide feedback from clients to the product development team for continuous improvement of offerings.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong management skills with the ability to oversee territory development and account portfolios.
- Expertise in business development, lead generation, cold calling, and direct sales strategies.
- Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce or other CRM tools for tracking customer interactions and pipeline management.
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
- Ability to conduct engaging product demos and upselling opportunities effectively.
- Strong analysis skills for market research, competitor analysis, and sales data interpretation.
- Effective communication skills for building relationships with clients across various industries including retail or manufacturing sectors.
