As a growing company, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be adept in handling a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, from Accounts Payable and Receivable (AP/AR) to managing shipping and receiving logistics, using Sage software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily office operations, including AP/AR functions.
  • Type, print and process tickets for shipping and receiving.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry into the Sage software system.
  • Monitor accounts, prepare reports, and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Prepare, file, and manage sales tax submissions, including multiple state sales taxes.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate monthly financials.
  • Coordinate and maintain office supplies, equipment, and communication.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Biweekly payroll including journal entry.
  • Prepare commissions monthly for payment.
  • Handle general office administration and support senior management as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in office management or similar administrative roles.
  • Strong understanding of AP/AR processes and monthly accounting practices (bank reconciliations, financials, sales tax).
  • Experience and proficiency with Sage software is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
