**Primary responsibility is servicing a customer located in Austin, Texas; therefore, the position requires residence within the local area. The role also involves occasional travel to other customer locations, approximately 25% of the time.This typically involves travel to a customer site on a Monday, performing an installation or service, and returning home no later than Friday.MKS Instruments is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the Austin Texas area. This individual will provide highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
