We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team and help drive excellence in clinical care, regulatory compliance, and staff development.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Nursing (DON) in managing and supervising nursing staff.
  • Assist in planning, developing, and implementing nursing policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, survey readiness, and quality standards.
  • Oversee resident care delivery, care plans, and clinical documentation.
  • Provide leadership in staff education, training, scheduling, and performance improvement.
  • Act as a resource for problem-solving and clinical decision-making.
  • Participate in audits, quality assurance, and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Current Texas RN license (required).
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to motivate, mentor, and develop nursing staff.
  • Commitment to resident-centered care and teamwork.
