Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education or degree in Information Technology-related field preferred.
  • Experience and/or training in a Microsoft Windows Domain-based environment.
  • Experience with troubleshooting Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Basic workstation and networking troubleshooting skills.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems encountered with computer hardware and software, basic LAN and WAN networks, and      peripherals. Typical support requests include: password lockouts, printer setup and troubleshooting, network resource access, remote access, email setup and troubleshooting, and phone setup and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with IT Department for appropriate support and escalations.
  • Accurately document service requests.
  • Create and maintain support knowledgebase articles.
  • Image and prepare laptops and desktops for users.
