Financial Analyst, Private Markets

Overview
This role will help with financial and business planning for Private Markets, with a focus on Real Estate Equity and Private Credit strategies. The analyst will oversee fund-level and asset-level financial planning, partner with investment and operations teams, and drive strategic initiatives that enhance forecasting, reporting, and capital deployment efficiency.
Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process across Private Markets
- Develop and maintain financial models for fund performance, asset-level returns, and investor capital activity
- Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, identifying key drivers and variances
- Prepare income and expense projections, cash flow forecasts, and capital planning schedules
Business Planning & Strategy
- Collaborate with investment teams to support new product launches, acquisitions, and capital structuring.
- Drive scenario modelling for fund and asset-level strategies, including valuation planning and investor return analysis
- Support strategic initiatives such as fund seeding, co-investment structuring, and platform scalability
Stakeholder Engagement
- Prepare materials for senior leadership, investment committees, and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CFA preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial services, preferably, real estate
- Strong understanding of fund structures and investment vehicles.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience managing third-party providers and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Salary Range
$80,000 to $120,000
The starting salary offer will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to the applicant's education, job-related experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location, and market factors. This position is also eligible to participate in the company's annual discretionary bonus plan.
