Way Mechanical is seeking a Project Executive to join our team Way Mechanical is one of the nation's largest and most experienced mechanical contractors. We specialize in commercial air conditioning, plumbing, piping, and the maintenance of these systems. Way Mechanical is at the forefront of design build/design assist, pre-construction, commissioning, building information modeling, and quality control.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of large mechanical and plumbing construction projects.
  • Develop project strategies, budgets, and schedules while ensuring profitability.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve challenges proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts, change orders, and resolve project disputes effectively.
  • Monitor project financials, including budgets, cost controls, and profitability.
  • Conduct performance reviews and analyze project success metrics.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in mechanical and plumbing construction, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing large commercial construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, scheduling tools, and financial reporting.
