Element Hotel FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE

Position Summary:

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Front Desk Employee to serve as the first point of contact for our guests at one of our Lifestyle Brand hotels in Chattanooga, TN. This role is responsible for check-in/check-out, managing reservations, handling inquiries, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist guests with a professional, friendly attitude.
  • Manage check-in/check-out and reservations accurately.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries promptly.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate billing records.
  • Address guest concerns and escalate issues as needed.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments.
  • Keep the front desk and lobby area neat and professional.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality experience preferred).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge; experience with reservation systems a plus.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work under pressure.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
