About The Role
We are looking for a Cloud Platform and Security Engineer to fill the gap between a few distinct areas: Cloud platform automation, cyber security incident handling as well as broad business support through expert advice and development. You will report to Head of Cloud Services in Oslo, whom is part of the Technology Leader Group, and you will also be a New York representative of all teams within the Technology Department. The Cloud team is a global team located in Oslo, London, New York and Singapore.

Duties And Responsibilities
What you will do
As a Cloud Platform and Security Engineer in Cloud Services in New York you will contribute to making sure the systems and technology work as automatic as possible and without issues. You will be part of the team responsible for building and supporting the core infrastructure platform, business stability and the development experience. We use the major cloud providers with tooling across a range of world-leading providers. You will also actively monitor and handle cyber security incidents and be part of our on-call Cyber Response (CSIRT) group within the Cyber Security Centre team.

What you need
Agile mindset and willingness to learn. You are a backend developer with an automation operations background and a strong security backbone. You work well in teams and is a brilliant communicator of technical challenges to non-technical people. You love to teach others and you are diligent and curious and always eager to pick up new skills. We work with Linux and Windows, Python and Powershell, AWS and Azure, Containers, Active Directory and Entra ID, Azure Devops and GitHub Actions, Sentinel and Wiz and the list goes on.
