Regional Operations Manager – Workforce & Student Housing


Irving, TX (Regional Travel Required)


Full-Time | $85,000–$95,000 (DOE) + Bonus + Benefits

Are you an experienced property management professional ready to take your career to the next level? Our client is looking for a
Regional Operations Manager
to lead a portfolio of
workforce and workforce housing communities
across multiple states (TX, CO, FL).

This role combines
strategic leadership
with
hands-on operational management
— ensuring that each community meets its goals for occupancy, resident satisfaction, and financial performance.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee the daily operations of four housing communities in multiple states.
  • Drive
    financial performance
    , ensuring adherence to budgets and occupancy goals.
  • Conduct regular site visits to maintain compliance, safety, and operational standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop
    Property Managers and on-site teams.
  • Oversee
    leasing, marketing, maintenance, and resident experience
    initiatives.
  • Collaborate with corporate leadership on strategic initiatives and capital improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with
    Fair Housing
    and all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Analyze
    market trends
    to shape pricing, marketing, and retention strategies.

What They Are Looking For

  • 5+ years
    of experience in property management - affordable housing OR workforce housing
  • Proven success managing
    multiple properties or regional portfolios
    .
  • Strong
    financial management and reporting
    skills.
  • Excellent
    leadership, communication, and organizational
    abilities.
  • Ability to
    travel regularly
    across assigned communities (TX, CO, FL)
  • Experience with
    Yardi, Entrata, or RealPage
    preferred.

Compensation & Benefits


Salary:
$85,000–$95,000 annually (DOE)


Bonus:
Performance-based (5–10%)
