Senior Product Manager, Reporting

Our mission is to unlock the full potential of private markets. Privately owned assets like commercial real estate, private equity, and venture capital make up half of our financial ecosystem yet remain inaccessible to most people. We are digitizing these markets, and as a result, bringing efficiency, transparency, and access to one of the most productive corners of our financial ecosystem. If you care about making the world a better place by making markets work better through technology – all while contributing as a member of a values-driven organization – we want to hear from you.
Juniper Square offers employees a variety of ways to work, ranging from a fully remote experience to working full-time in one of our physical offices. We invest heavily in digital-first operations, allowing our teams to collaborate effectively across 27 U.S. states, 2 Canadian Provinces, India, Luxembourg, and England. We also have physical offices in San Francisco, New York City, Mumbai and Bangalore for employees who prefer to work in an office some or all of the time.
About your roleWe're looking for an entrepreneurial product leader to set the vision and strategy for Juniper Square's financial reporting and BI solutions. You will help our clients address a critical pain point: fragmented, inaccessible data that limits meaningful analysis and reporting. The scope of this data spans from CRM notes & emails all the way to financial transactions, account balances, and custom performance metrics. In addition to data coverage and complexity, clients increasingly seek flexible data presentation to deliver clear, contextual insights with the necessary context for their internal stakeholders and their investors.
You will define and build a configurable, scalable reporting platform that enables GPs to tailor financial reporting to their firm's structure, strategy, and investor needs. This means secure, auditable data access, coupled with intuitive interfaces for transforming and presenting complex private markets data.
To get this right, you will need to understand and think through the entire life cycle of the data, from the most granular data element in the source system all the way to the pixel on the report. You'll work closely with clients and internal Fund Accountants, approaching the problem from first-principles and you will develop a short, medium and long term roadmap that will have a lasting impact on Private Markets.
We're a close-knit, high-performing team driven by an entrepreneurial mindset, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a passion for solving complex challenges. If you share these values and thrive in a high velocity, outcome-focused environment, we'd love to hear from you.
This role would benefit from in-person collaboration in San Francisco, where many of our product management, design, and engineering personnel are based, although we also welcome exceptional candidates from elsewhere in the United States and Canada.
What you'll doDevelop vision, strategy and execute on the roadmap for Reporting and Data initiatives
Meet frequently with clients and prospects to understand needs, validate ideas and hear feedback
Collaborate closely with engineering, design, QA and peers through the phases of SDLC
Evangelize the roadmap, gain executive and team alignment and buy-in

5+ years in Product Management with 2+ years at similar level, in B2B SaaS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent schooling or training; Preferred Master's degree
Experience with data-rich products, reporting / BI capabilities
Comfort working with a range of levels, from envisioning entirely new products to mastering details and edge cases
Strategic thinking - ability to define a compelling long term product vision, articulate the strategy and execute a multi year roadmap for complex products
Proven ability to break down complex, ambiguous challenges into clear, actionable product solutions.
Familiarity with key relevant concepts: APIs, data pipelines, ETL/ELT, data warehouses, reporting solutions
Expertise in product analytics, KPIs, prioritization frameworks, and using data to drive product strategy
