Are you looking for something different? We offer competitive pay and benefits and are currently looking for a knowledgeable Lead Solar Technician who can effectively supervise a team to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and in compliance with all codes and standards. We have an immediate opportunity in Middle Tennessee.

  • Responsibilities

Lead the installation of residential and/or commercial solar PV systems from start to finish.

  • Supervise and train a team of solar installers.
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system plans.
  • Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance checks.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, clients, and inspectors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in solar PV installation.
  • Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Thorough knowledge of the NEC, local codes, and solar best practices.
  • Experience with roof and ground-mount systems.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to effectively supervise a team.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Tolerance wearing PPE for extended periods of time.
  • Work in various weather conditions, which can include extreme heat, cold or wet weather.

Preferred:

  • Technical or trade school certification.
