Job SummaryChloeta is seeking a Facilitation and Community Engagement Specialist to support the National Forests of North Carolina in implementing a comprehensive Program of Work (POW) related to post-storm recovery operations. This position will play a key role in coordinating and facilitating meetings, events, and collaborative activities that support recovery efforts including road maintenance and repair, hazard tree removal, trail clearing, range infrastructure repair, and firewood harvesting.Supervisory Responsibilities: NoJob Classification: Permanent; Full-TimeDuty Station: North CarolinaTravel: Up to 10%, contingent upon business needsDuties/ResponsibilitiesFacilitate regular project meetings at to-be-determined intervals with the project sponsor(s), project manager(s), project team members, and other appropriate stakeholdersScheduling meetings (identifying mutually acceptable meeting times, sending out meeting invitations, reserving meeting rooms, etc.), drafting agendas, documenting meeting minutes, and documenting and tracking completion of action itemsSet-up and ready to facilitate prior to beginning of all meetings as well as self-sufficient in audio/visual equipment and online meeting capabilities. This position requires timeliness, efficiency, and technological skillsPlan workshops and meetings with Forest Service-identified partners such as state, federal, and local partners, including government, non-government organizations, local communities, and all stakeholdersAbility to accommodate in-person, virtual, and hybrid meetings:Support for large audiencesLivestreaming accounts to include video conferencing platforms (including one dedicated Microsoft Teams account, one dedicated Zoom account, and backup accounts as needed to facilitate virtual presenters or American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters) and social media accounts (Facebook, YouTube, etc.).Ability to support and plan multiple meetings at one time (e.g. simultaneous planning meeting and community meetings). Under basic package, NFsNC would determine the highest priority to support.Ability to set up in advance, generally a minimum of an hour before community meetings (other meetings will vary depending on incident needs) to validate connectivity and integrate ASL interpreters, captioner, computer source inputs (maps, visuals, etc.) and/or virtual presenters before the meeting begins.Ability to go live when needed with minimal lead time (due to emerging incident needs), with all necessary audiovisual capabilities.Must take notes summarizing all meetings and events and provide all notes, shared resources, attending contacts, and all related documentation to each meeting or event within one business day.Prepare handouts, maps, agendas, informative documents, name tags, etc. for all attendees and interested parties.Support planning, organization, and preparations of any VIP visits, field tours, community events and other occasions related to the needs of the ForestManage meetings (i.e. promptly creating meeting invites to share well in advance of meeting start time; manage sending/updating meeting invites; coordinate with virtual ASL interpreters, captioner, and/or virtual presenters in advance; and admit virtual attendees throughout the duration of the meeting, coordinate split screens or breakout rooms as needed, etc.)Ability to integrate multiple presenters, ASL interpreters, and/or captioner physically in different locations (on-site and virtual), and electronic inputs (maps, visuals, etc.)Ability to stream to multiple platforms at the same time (i.e. livestream a community meeting via livestream platform (Teams, Zoom, etc.) to social media (YouTube, etc.)Manage dynamic onscreen visuals, e.g. ability to seamlessly switch real-time between multiple sources for primary onscreen visual (e.g., video of presenter in front of a map, video close-up of in-person presenter, video of virtual presenter(s), computer input with zoomed in map or other presentation, and/or video view of audience, etc.) with simultaneous real-time graphic overlay(s)Ability to feature both the primary onscreen visual and a pinned or picture-inpicture layout simultaneously onscreen to feature an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter for the duration of the meeting (e.g. seamlessly integrate a separate on-site video feed focused on the ASL interpreter, or integrate video for one or more virtual ASL interpreters who may trade-off duties during the course of long meetings), or other visual (presenter, map, etc.)Proficiency with real-time updatable on-screen and post-production graphics to include lower third overlay(s) to include agency name, speaker name, title, etc. (using programs such as PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe graphics products and professional video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve)Multiple redundancies to maintain reliable communication channels/feed, minimizing disruptions even in the event of equipment or internet failure including ability to switch to a standby graphic in the event of a full internet outage at the meeting location and record meeting as a backup to post following the meetingAbility to transition from meeting-to-meeting and speaker-to-speaker with minimal impact to the intended audience(s)All cables, cable covers, cable path tape, gaffing tape, power strips and extension cords, and surge protecting devices, etc. to support this requirementAbility to display or display presentations (i.e., Microsoft PowerPoint, PDF, meeting participant video, YouTube, etc.) using projectors or monitor displays to small (
