Edge is an applied AI venture studio and research institute, co-founded by a Transformer inventor. We back ambitious open-source initiatives and incubate frontier AI projects — including Open Source Campus (OSC), San Francisco's #1 hub for open-source AI.

JOIN US AS INTERN

We help and advise AI companies on go-to-market strategy and community activation — building bridges between founders, researchers, and open-source ecosystems. We've hosted 70+ events across San Francisco, New York, and Denver — from hackathons and research sprints to founder summits and paper clubs. We're looking for sharp, high-agency interns to help us grow our community and support the next wave of open-source innovation.


Marketing Intern

  • Manage newsletters, social media, and community updates
  • Create event promos, recaps, and highlight reels
  • Track engagement and optimize outreach strategies
  • Ideal background: Marketing, communications, or media studies


Event & Community Intern

  • Design thematic events and curate speaker lineups
  • Lead project management, execution, and logistics coordination
  • Support sponsorship outreach and partner engagement
  • Ideal background: Event planning, operations, or communications


Creative Design Intern

  • Define visual identity, brand direction, website design
  • Create digital assets for events, campaigns, and social media
  • Edit launch videos, highlight reels, and motion content
  • Ideal background: Graphic design, visual arts, or media production

  • Twitter & AI Culture Savvy – Ability to create viral tweets, memes, and content.
  • Community Engagement – Experience managing or growing online communities.
  • Marketing & Copywriting – Strong storytelling skills, with an eye for concise, impactful messaging.
  • Growth Hacking Mindset – Ability to experiment with strategies for audience reach and engagement.

 Bonus: Familiarity with SEO, discord management, or newsletter marketing.
