The Director of Outpatient Adult Clinical Services provides strategic leadership and oversight for all adult outpatient clinical programming and services. This role is accountable for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care across therapy, case management, psychiatric, and nursing services. The Director partners with operations and executive leadership to align adult clinical services with organizational goals, manage resources effectively, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead initiatives that drive clinical excellence and innovation.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide overall leadership and vision for Adult Clinical Services, ensuring alignment with Polara Health's mission and strategic priorities.
Oversee all clinical operations for adult outpatient services, including supervision of therapists, BHPs, BHTs, and interns.
Direct program development, expansion, and integration of adult services with other organizational departments.
Lead clinical quality initiatives and ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
Partner with the COO, Operations leadership, and Finance to develop and manage departmental budgets.
Lead recruitment, retention, and professional development strategies for adult clinical staff.
Serve as a key liaison with external partners, referral sources, and regulatory bodies.
Support system-wide clinical policies, procedures, and performance improvement initiatives.
Participate as an active member of the senior leadership team, contributing to organizational strategy and decision-making.
21 years of age or older; or minimum 18 years old and licensed or certified under A.R.S. Title 32 and providing services within the personnel member's scope of practice; or minimum 18 years old for select administrative positions
Must be able to provide or obtain an AZDPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver License, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization
Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field required.
Current independent licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent in Arizona required.
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Experience with budget management, program development, and quality improvement.
