Southern Glazer's offers a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $110,400 - $151,600 a year plus bonus potential. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.
Overview
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and organizing systems, processes, and employees that define a scalable distribution network for materials and goods to support business and growth objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Direct all aspects of the distribution operation including picking and packing, shipping and receiving, replenishment, production, returns, inventory control management, and maintenance of facilities
- Establish, evaluate, and maintain performance standards for all areas of the warehouse that can be measured to ensure accountability and client Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Provides leadership in cost reduction through continuous process improvements and automation to maintain and enhance margins to sustain profitability
Additional Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Client Relations and Sales for the successful implementation of new clients
- Partner with the senior management team to strategically plan for future growth
- Analyze capacity and capital equipment requirements, client forecasts, business objectives, organizational processes, etc
- Ensure safety compliance of all team members
- Develop and execute plans for continual growth and peak seasons
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
- Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills
- Working knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Methodologies
- Demonstrate clear knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines within their respective industries to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and organizations
- Proficient with Enterprise Systems such as SAP software and Warehouse Management Systems
