Constellation Search Group is looking for a Senior Director, Program Management & Payment Operations for a full-time direct hire position. This role will lead the strategic oversight and execution of programs that enhance the growth and operational excellence of a payments platform. Positioned at the intersection of product, operations, and technology, the leader will align business goals with execution across various domains. Reporting directly to the EV, this is a high-impact leadership role.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the program management office (PMO), setting frameworks and governance to achieve cross-functional alignment and delivery on strategic initiatives.
  • Translate executive goals into actionable roadmaps, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Operations to drive complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives from conception to completion.
  • Oversee payment operations from transaction processing to dispute management, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational scalability.
  • Partner with Finance and Risk to optimize payment controls and liquidity operations, enhancing cash management.
  • Drive automation and optimize processes to improve SLAs and reduce operational friction.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team of program and operations managers.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership on priorities, risk mitigation, and operational excellence.
  • Engage with hospitality customers and partners, ensuring seamless onboarding and operational support.
  • Implement process improvements and utilize data analytics to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, payment technologies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in fintech, payments, or financial services operations, including 5 years in senior leadership roles.
  • Proven leadership in large-scale, cross-functional programs within fast-paced, high-growth settings.
  • Deep understanding of B2B payments, reconciliation, and settlement processes.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance frameworks like AML, KYC, and PCI.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Experience with operational automation and workflow optimization tools.
  • Preferred experience in the hospitality or travel industry, and a background in SaaS or fintech products.
  • Certifications like PMP, PgMP, or Lean Six Sigma are preferred.
