Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the orthodontist during examinations and treatments
  • Prepare and organize instruments and materials for orthodontic procedures
  • Take records (panoramic, cephalometric, and photos)
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic care
  • Take impressions, pour models, and fabricate clear retainers
  • Adjust and fit orthodontic appliances
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Sterilize instruments and ensure the cleanliness of the treatment area
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed
  • Cross-sell orthodontic products to patients as appropriate
  • Participate in marketing events and promote the practice to the community

Qualifications:

  • **REQUIRED** 3+ years of experience as an orthodontic assistant
  • Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions Certification (preferred)
  • Dental X-ray Certification (preferred)
  • CPR Certification (preferred)
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
