Junior Accountant – Mandarin Preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Record general ledger entries with precision.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements to internal records.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial documents.
  • Track and record company expenses, ensuring they are properly documented and categorized.
  • Assist in managing expense reports and reimbursements.
  • Enter financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets with high accuracy.
  • Maintain and update financial records as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal departments to resolve accounting-related issues.
  • Provide clear and timely responses to financial inquiries.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or other document applications.
  • Bilingual in both English and Chinese.
  • Detail-oriented, strong verbal and written communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team
