Treasury & Cash Accounting Manager

Job Purpose Statement:

To perform accounting and analysis for all aspects of cash, notes payable and related accounts, notes receivable and related accounts, and various corporate income accounts; and serve as system administrator of the ReconNet software application.

Job Functions:

Monitor and analyze all debt accounts and make loan, interest and interest rate swap payments. Maintain amortization schedules for all debt agreements and calculation of current portion of long-term debt for all entities.

Maintain and analyze all interest-bearing receivable accounts for all entities and associated interest income and accrued interest. Prepare period close interest income rollforward to assist with period close financials review process.

Prepare monthly debt package for all entities, which includes schedules for all debt, interest rate swaps, letters of credit and guarantees.

Serve as backup to AP Lead to ensure daily ACH files are transmitted to banks to support non-zba daily bank transfers. Coordinate with AP Lead and Jr. Systems Integrator to ensure appropriate coverage of this task.

Maintain and analyze management fees in Workday.

Review and approve Ad Hoc Bank Transactions submitted in Workday for BNE, Brewer, Bryanna, & CRV.

Within Workday, verify that daily bank statements received and loaded for all accounts

Within Workday, review bank statement records for Unreconciled transactions, ensure reconciliation of transactions is occurring on a timely manner. Also review for unreconciled (outstanding) transaction to ensure items have been reconciled appropriately.

Ensure period close journal entries for bank accounts are posted prior to preliminary period close.

Perform initial review of all manual bank account reconciliations for operating bank accounts. If reconciliation is not on track work to identify and process corrections.

Prepare letters of communication when banking changes are needed.

Provide correspondence to all restaurants regarding cash management and banking issues or changes. Open new and change existing bank accounts and maintain the ReconNet system in response to unit openings, closings or bank changes.  Place deposit ticket orders for new accountsand changes to existing bank accounts.

Open new and maintain existing credit card merchant accounts and maintain the ReconNet system in response to unit openings, closings or merchant changes.

Prepare and coordinate mailing of quarterly and annual financial reporting and compliance packages for BNE and affiliates.

Serve as administrator for all ReconNet software applications and provide support for Restaurant Accounting Specialists.

Provide back-up support for Cash Management Coordinator responsibilities.

Prepare reconciliations for assigned bank accounts.

Perform daily interactive reconciliation for credit card deposits and prepare communications regarding non-settlement of credit cards by restaurants and reconciling differences created by POS System issues.

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping practices.
• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Accounting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with high volume transactions and deadlines.
• Prior experience with bank account reconciliation programs preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
