Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer
Job Summary:
1. New raw material and auxiliary material development APQP management
2. Supplier audit
3. Solution of supplier quality problems
4. Supplier capability improvement
5. Supplier performance management
Job Functions:
1.0 New raw material and auxiliary material development APQP management:
1.1 Participate in the assessment of the qualification and capability of newly developed raw and auxiliary material supplier;
1.2 Prepare the quality stand and inspection specification for newly developed raw and auxiliary materials;
1.3 Responsible for reviewing sample products delivered by supplier and recognizing PPAP;
1.4 Responsible for organizing development review of newly developed raw and auxiliary materials and approving supplier's mass production requisition.
2.0 Supplier audit:
2.1 According to the group's labor division form relating to annual audit, prepare annual supplier audit plan and implement the plan;
2.2 Responsible for potential suppliers assessment;
2.3 Responsible for tracking the implementation of supplier audit;
2.4 Regularly report supplier of audit progress and review result.
3.0 Solution of supplier quality problem:
3.1 Responsible for judging the quality problems relating to raw and auxiliary material;
3.2 Duly handle with supplier quality problem and confirm the effectiveness of supplier rectification;
3.3 Organize returning of supplier 's nonconforming materials and corresponding claim for compensation;
3.4 Summarize and analyze supplier incoming quality problem, and prepare corrective and preventive actions.
4.0 Supplier capability improvement:
4.1 According to supplier performance and audit performance, prepare supplier promotion plan;
4.2 Urge and assist supplier in capability promotion.
5.0 Supplier performance management:
5.1 collect supplier records (quality, delivery, price and service) and to summary supplier performance
5.2 Implement the system of survival of the fittest according to supplier's performance evaluation and capability promotion quality agreement and file management
5.2 Responsible for quality agreement, sign quality agreement with supplier
5.3 Prepare sub supplier list and PPAP file
6.0 Other works relating to quality assurance:
6.1 Responsible for providing training for incoming inspector and relevant personnel regarding raw and auxiliary material quality control;
6.2 Assist with quality control section in continuously improving incoming inspection process and the inspection quality;
6.3 Responsible for compiling, archiving and transferring materials relating to raw materials and auxiliary materials.

Qualifications
- Languages spoken commonly in the workplace are English and Mandarin. Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers
- Above two years of working experience in quality management
- Bachelor's degree or above
- The employee is regularly required o stand or sit for long periods. Duties will include long periods of viewing a computer monitor
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
- Knowledge of and familiarity manufacturing software
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office software Word, Excel, Authorities Point
- Glass manufacturing principle and technological process
- Company quality policy, target and commitment
- TS16949 quality management system
- Systematic knowledge about ISO14001/OHSAS18001
- Various standard, detection/test methods
- Core knowledge about five tools
- Able to review and audit supplier
- New project risk evaluation and management
- Systematic solutions
- Strong planning, organization, leadership and control ability
- Strong sense of responsibility and sensitivity and actively respond to problems
- Able to sustain a certain degree of work pressure
- Have received systematic training regarding vehicle glass production process and major equipment
- Have received systematic APQP training
- Have received TS16949 quality system (including 6 manuals) training
- Have received systematic quality tool training
- Have received VDA6.3 process audit training
Must be 18 years of age or older.
