Automotive Bookkeeper

Taverna Automotive Group is looking for an Accounting Bookkeeper to work in our accounting office at Palm Beach Mitsubishi Our pay is $30-38/hr depending on experience, plus great benefits including Health Insurance with $0 Deductible, Dental, and Vision insurance.

Job Summary: Processes Bank Entries across all dealerships daily. Analyzes and posts the Parts Statement for each Manufacturer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Post all Bank Entries daily
• Perform Bank Reconciliation
• Reconciles Schedules monthly, especially those related to the parts statements.
• Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area.
• Communicate with coworkers, management, customers, and others in a courteous and professional manner.

Education and/or Experience Required: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to four years related experience, preferably in an Automotive Dealership setting.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
