As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting practices. You will leverage your expertise to manage complex financial reports, oversee cash management, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts. What you'll do

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger accounting to maintain financial integrity.
  • Oversee regulatory reporting and ensure compliance
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and support for non-profit and governmental accounting needs.
  • Collaborate on cash management strategies to optimize liquidity and financial performance.
  • Write comprehensive financial reports that provide insights into organizational performance.
  • Utilize accounting software

Basic qualifications

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, including double-entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and account reconciliation.
  • Proven experience in public accounting or corporate accounting environments.
  • Proficiency in financial management practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with payroll processing and related regulations.
  • Familiarity with advanced accounting software tools for enhanced reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to perform detailed account analysis to identify trends and variances.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $84, $85,000.00 per year
