Position Overview
We are looking to add a Senior Tax Accountant to our team.
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will work alongside a team of professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional client service.
The ideal candidate will have strong general accounting knowledge and advanced technical expertise, be detail-oriented, and demonstrate excellent analytical and organizational skills. This role is well-suited for a self-motivated, proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and provide essential support to the team during a period of rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
- Prepare tax projections and develop tax planning strategies.
- Respond to federal and state agency inquiries and tax notices.
- Research client-related tax matters and communicate findings clearly.
- Collaborate with clients and management to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Work closely with financial advisors and team members to integrate tax-efficient strategies into broader financial plans.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification required.
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in financial services or wealth management.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in UltraTax and Account CS, or similar tax software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Travel
- No travel required.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department within the organization's facilities.
