Job Description
Job Summary:
As Construction Estimator, you will act as the principal point of contact for inquiring customers: answering calls, fielding emails, and seeking out new leads using Construct Connect Insight, File Transfer Protocols, and bidding software. By gathering information and analyzing important metrics, you will prepare accurate quotes that ensure customers have the right products, services, and pricing. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who seeks out additional work without being prompted by their supervisors.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Daily monitoring of project leads and specification websites
  • Answering customer inquiries
  • Reviewing construction drawing sets
  • Determining key variables of cost
  • Use software for data analysis and budgeting
  • Creating and submitting quotations for new projects
  • Creating project orders
  • Coordinating between customers and office staff
  • Providing consultation on planning

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Proven experience in Construction and/or Estimating
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Thoroughness and reliability

Education And Experience
Associates degree in a related field preferred

Two Years Related Experience Preferred
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
