Job Summary
 
The Marketing Manager leads day-to-day marketing execution while driving long-term brand and GTM strategy. This role owns creative oversight, campaign development and product launch readiness, content delivery oversight, and digital alignment — ensuring all initiatives reflect Southend's commitment to precision, transparency, and patient centric care.

You will manage content operations, lifecycle and demand generation campaigns, and cross-functional efforts supporting campaigns for sterile, non-sterile, and longevity-focused product lines

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Strategic Leadership
  • Champion Southend's brand pillars: Clinical Precision, Human Approach, Partnership, Transparency, Innovative Care, and Modern Medicine.
     
     
  • Build and execute quarterly marketing roadmaps aligned with strategic priorities.
     
     
  • Execute GTM strategies for sterile, non-sterile, and longevity-aligned product launches, ensuring message-market fit and strong commercialization outcomes.
     
     
  • Translate clinical, product, and operational strategies into clear provider-facing campaigns that support adoption and retention.
     
     
  • Oversee creative work, campaign operations, and launch workflows.
     
     
  • Maintain consistent, precise, compliant messaging across all channels.
     
     
Content & Creative Development
  • Design lifecycle marketing frameworks across the provider journey (onboarding → engagement → education → retention).
     
     
  • Develop content aligned to full-funnel demand generation (awareness → consideration → prescription → refill cycles).
     
     
  • Oversee provider-facing materials including clinical protocol sheets, workflows, brochures, onboarding guides, and operational updates.
     
     
  • Manage creative vendors and internal content development workflows.
     
     
  • Oversee content planning, scheduling, and delivery to ensure consistency across all multichannel campaigns, as well as alignment with brand standards, compliance requirements, and clinical accuracy.
     
     
  • Uphold Southend's Approved Vocabulary & Language Guide across all assets.
     
     
Provider Acquisition & Retention
  • Build and optimize provider marketing journeys supporting awareness, education, and engagement.
     
     
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Compliance, and Communications teams to support operational and time-sensitive provider communications (facility updates, supply chain impacts, holiday schedules, weather events).
     
     
  • Simplify provider understanding of sterile and non-sterile workflows through clear, clinically aligned campaign messaging.
     
     
  • Reinforce trust and partnership through timely, human-centered communication.
     
     
Digital Marketing & Website Management
  • Support digital initiatives that strengthen provider conversions and retention pathways.
     
     
  • Ensure digital messaging remains compliant, clinically aligned, and consistent with Southend's brand voice.
     
     
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure digital channels reflect accuracy and transparency during operational updates.
  • Tracking and reporting of ad analytics and digital performance of campaigns 
     
     
Social Media Management
  • Oversee content planning, scheduling, and delivery across social and digital channels.
     
     
  • Maintain a compliant, informational, provider-centered presence aligned with brand voice.
     
     
  • Monitor engagement trends and insights to drive content optimization.
     
     
  • Ensure all content adheres to regulatory standards and approved language.
     
     
Campaign Execution
  • Lead quarterly and seasonal campaigns supporting provider engagement, education, and product expansion.
     
     
  • Build and manage full-funnel demand generation campaigns across email, digital, web, and social.
     
     
  • Manage campaign workflows, content calendars, creative asset delivery, and execution timelines.
     
     
  • Ensure all campaigns align with clinical accuracy, brand voice, and compliance requirements.
     
     
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Legal & Regulatory to ensure messaging meets FDA, FTC, and state-level requirements.
     
     
  • Work closely with Operations, Product, Clinical, and Customer Service teams.
     
     
  • Support communication strategies related to clinical protocol rollouts, non-sterile expansion, and longevity initiatives.
     
     
Compliance Responsibilities
  • Follow Southend's Approved Vocabulary & Language Guide and avoid prohibited claims.
     
     
  • Ensure required disclaimers accompany all relevant materials, including digital, print, and social assets.
     
     
  • Participate in compliance and QA review processes to ensure accuracy, regulatory alignment, and clinical clarity across all communications.  

Qualifications 

Required

Marketing Management Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Marketing Management, preferably within a healthcare, pharmacy, or regulated environment.
     
     

AI & Software Proficiency

  • 1–2 years of experience using AI tools for marketing and workflow enhancement (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, or comparable platforms).
     
     
  • 1–2 years of proficiency in Canva for content creation and brand-aligned design.
     
     
  • Experience using task management software (ClickUp, , Asana, Trello, etc.) for day-to-day workflow ownership and team coordination.
     
     
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to produce educational provider-facing content, clinical-to-consumer translations, and social/digital copy that supports brand storytelling, campaign messaging, and pharmacy service communication.
     
     
  • CRM experience required, specifically supporting marketing, segmentation, and lifecycle management (e.g., Creatio, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Salesforce, or similar platforms).
     
     
  • Experience supporting or owning full-cycle Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, from launch planning through deployment and analytics.
  • Preference for Houston, TX candidates available for hybrid work (2–3 days/week).

Preferred

  • 2–3 years of experience in a compounding pharmacy environment (sterile or non-sterile; 503A preferred).
  • Experience in sterile and non-sterile compounding, or longevity-focused therapeutics.
     
     
  • Understanding of 503A compliance, pharmacy operations, and provider workflows.
     
     
  • Enterprise GTM strategy and commercialization experience.
     
     
  • Full-funnel demand generation expertise across digital, lifecycle, and provider-focused channels.
     
     
  • Product marketing and positioning experience.
     
     
  • Data-driven optimization and reporting skills with the ability to translate insights into action.
     
     
  • Experience managing creative vendors and launching calendars.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, or via virtual meeting
  • Ability to maintain focus in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms, such as typing.
