Job Overview

Custom Dwellings is a small (but growing) residential design-build company located in Marietta, Georgia. For the past 19 years, we've specialized in award-winning higher end projects ranging from kitchens and bathrooms, porches, whole house remodels, new builds, and everything in-between. Custom Dwellings is known for quality design, construction, and customer service.

The Design-Build Sales Account Manager works closely with both the Design Department and Build Departments and serves as the primary liaison between Custom Dwellings and its clients, ensuring a positive customer experience, from the initial estimate through project completion and beyond, fostering loyalty and repeat business.

Duties

  • CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
  • Develop sales pipeline: Attend networking events, trade shows, etc.,
  • Primary point of contact: Serve as the main contact for all client inquiries, concerns, and needs throughout the remodeling process.
  • Client Advocacy: Act as the client's champion internally, ensuring their needs are understood and met by the various project teams.
  • PROJECT COORDINATION AND MANAGEMENT SUPPORT
  • Project oversight: Plan for and monitor project progress to ensure it aligns with client expectations, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordination with Internal Teams: Collaborate closely with the design team and estimator to prepare accurate bids and proposals, coordinate with project managers to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Issue Resolution: Promptly address and resolve any client issues or escalations during the project to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • STRATEGIC PLANNING AND ADMINISTRATION
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all client interactions, project status, and financial data using a CRM system.

Requirements

  • 3 years + of client account management, sales or sales-adjacent experience (can be in architecture, construction, design, showroom, or other, if experience fits or can fit above responsibilities).
  • Organized and results-oriented. Familiarity with project scheduling and deadlines.
  • Familiarity or experience with design software, BuilderTrend, and CRM is a plus.

Compensation for this role is market-competitive with incentives for performance.

Experience and skills will determine compensation rate.
