Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities, ensuring that all housekeeping operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and hospitality, with proven leadership skills to manage a team of housekeeping staff effectively. Must work weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for efficient workflow.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and compliance with company standards.
  • Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery within the establishment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all cleaning practices.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and janitorial practices.
  • Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial services is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with staff and guests professionally.
