Founding Payer Account Executive

We're hiring a Founding Payer AE in New York
If you love building something from the ground up and thrive in complex, strategic sales, this one's for you.
Brilliant is expanding from provider sales into the payer segment. We already have one insurance customer using our product daily, now we're looking for a sharp, consultative seller to replicate and scale that motion.
The role:
- NYC | 4 days in office
- $250K–$300K OTE (50/50 split) + equity
- Strategic enterprise sales | 3–6 month cycles | low–mid 6-figure ACVs
- Founding AE for a net-new business segment — IC role with room to grow
- Report directly to the Head of Growth
The ideal candidate:
- 5–15 years of consultative sales or BD experience
- Experience selling to payers / health plans / networks strongly preferred (Headway, Medallion, Cedar, Certify, Ribbon, etc.)
- Comfortable navigating complex orgs and long sales cycles
- Strategic, articulate, and motivated to build something new
