Summary

As a Universal Banker you would be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, opening new accounts, and processing a variety of teller transactions. You would also play a key role in educating customers about Rio Bank's products and services and making recommendations that meet their needs. 

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. (hours vary)

Saturdays, 8:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. (on a rotation basis) 

What You'll Do

Provide a high level of customer service to our customersProcess a variety of retail and commercial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals and check cashingBalance cash drawer dailyAssist in ordering, receiving, verifying, and distributing cashOpen and close accounts and perform account maintenanceProcess check orders, debit cards, wire transfers, and stop payments.Promote the bank's products and servicesAnswer customer inquiries in a helpful manner and refer customers to to other departments as neededProcess ATM, Debit and ACH disputesAdhere to all bank policies and proceduresMaintain a good record of attendance and punctuality

What We're Looking For

Required

High school diploma or GEDOne (1) or more years of experience in a customer service roleTwo (2) years cash handling experience in a financial institution or combination of education and experience  Excellent customer service skills Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational abilities Ability to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to make effective decisions under pressure Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Valid driver's license

Preferred

Working knowledge of banking rules and regulationsBilingual (English/Spanish) ability
