Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 2yr old Early Childhood Educator Toddler Teacher to join our team. This role is essential in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for toddlers, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to creating engaging learning experiences for young children.

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
  • Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their progress.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a cohesive educational approach.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's activities, progress, and any incidents that occur during the day.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices.
  • Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny/babysitter.
  • Knowledge of special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
  • First aid certification is preferred to ensure the safety of all children in care.
  • Excellent classroom management skills to create an organized learning environment.
  • Ability to engage effectively with toddlers through creative teaching methods.
  • Experience in behavior management techniques to support children's emotional needs.

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
