The Commercial Support Specialist will facilitate effective processing of sales transactions through developing a strong working knowledge of commercial processes, systems, and reporting.  The Commercial Support Specialist works in a fast-paced environment and builds relationships and effective communication channels between sales, engineering, operations, and accounting functions.  In this role, you will support a team of account managers, helping to identify and resolve issues, and ensure sales transactions move effectively throughout their lifecycle. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Regional Sales VP's and Account Managers to support sales operations

  • Assist account managers in proper use of the CRM

  • Perform all aspects of processing sales transactions across Kodiak's Contract Services product lines; contracts, renewals, contract rate adjustments, releases, unit moves, change of operators, and others.  

  • Assist RVPs in monitoring reports and dashboards to ensure timely starts and stops of forecasted revenues

  • Assist account managers when setting up new accounts

  • Document management and assist customers and account managers with required documents

  • Coordinate with Fleet, Make Ready Shops, and Logistics to assist account managers with unit moves

  • Assist sales leadership with monthly reporting of commercial activities

Education & Certifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred

Work Experience

  • 2+ years administrative experience, customer service, order management, or supply chain

  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  • Highly self-motivated and directed.

  • Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment.

Physical Demands

  • Predominantly operates in an office environment.

  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and other computer components.

  • Up to 20% travel required.
