Your Opportunity: Taylor is looking for an Equipment Operator in our signs and graphics department.
Your Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate printing press equipment, in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures
- Performs daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output
- Check paper for type, size, color and quantity
- Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates
- Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment
- Read and understand a job ticket to ensure the correct product is produced according to specifications
- Manage workflow effectively to ensure deadlines are met
- Operate multiple variations of presses and perform preventative maintenance
- Set up and make the press ready
- Visually inspect product throughout the run for quality checks, registration, ink coverage, and numbering sequence
- Perform color calibrations and maintain consistent color output
- Inspect finished product for quality and accuracy
Your Shift:
- 1st Shift, Monday – Thursday, 6:00am – 4:30pm
You Must Have:
- Ability to set adjustable mechanism to required tolerance
- High degree of mathematical skill and attention to detail
- High degree of mechanical ability
- Good reading ability
We Would Also Prefer:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to work with very close tolerances
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members
- High degree of analytical skills
- Good color discernment
