Responsibilities:

  • Oversees pharmacy purchasing, inventory control, distribution, and regulatory record keeping.
  • Supervises pharmacy technicians supporting inventory management.
  • Coordinates with clinical and hospital departments to ensure timely and accurate medication ordering.
  • Maintains and audits inventory systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manages medications to support cost-containment efforts.
  • Partners with pharmacy to monitor and optimize the 340B Drug Pricing Program.
  • Drives continuous improvement in medication procurement processes and quality performance.

What You Will Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Possess current pharmacy technician registration in the State Florida.
  • Possess National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
  • Possess I.V. certification.
  • Five (5) years pharmacy inventory experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Successful completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician training course preferred.
