About the Role:

  • VP of Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing relationships that advance Pager Health's growth, brand influence, and market position in digital healthcare. This leader will report to the Chief Growth Officer and will create and execute a partnership strategy that aligns with both growth and business goals.

  • Develop and execute the company's partnership strategy to strengthen the company's positionwithin the payer landscape, including payer innovation initiatives.

  • Identify high-value partnership opportunities in new and existing markets, including strengthening existing partnerships to deliver both short- and long-term business opportunities.

  • Build, negotiate, and manage strategic alliances, channel partnerships, and healthcare industry relationships. Candidates must possess the ability to address highly complex healthcare strategies, digital solutions with emphasis on AI-based capabilities.

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, legal, and product teams to structure mutually beneficial programs and contracts.

  • This role carries a growth target tied to partnership-generated revenue. S/he will develop and maintain long-term relationships with key senior health plan leaders and have an executive presence and credibility in C-suite payer discussions

  • This commercial leader will build strong relationships with a consultative mindset. S/he will be passionate about Pager's mission to be a consumer-first patient engagement and care coordination platform, revolutionizing the delivery of care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute partnership and growth strategies to strengthen Pager Health's position in the healthcare payer landscape.

  • Develop and execute a partnership strategic plan, identifying possible partner organizations and building a pipeline to expand beyond existing clients and pilots, with metric-based accountability

  • Develop relationships with Pager champions within client organizations to facilitate collective buy-in among diverse range of client stakeholders

  • Function as a deal-driver and deal-shaper; identify, construct, negotiate, and close complex technology and go-to-market partnership arrangements

  • Understand the combined value of both Pager and partner capabilities to serve market needs, leveraging consultative skills to develop customized proposals

  • Serve as an internal exp

  • Expert on payer ecosystem trends, value-based care models, and regulatory changes impacting partnerships.

  • Drive consensus among product, engineering, marketing, legal, and operations teams within Pager to ensure successful messaging and execution of client contract

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree is preferred

  • 7+ years in payer strategy, consulting, or partnerships — ideally with direct experience in value-based contract design and execution.

  • Exhibit a "roll up your sleeves" work ethic and motivation to work tenaciously to drive long-term enterprise value growth.

  • Extensive understanding of payer economics, network contracting, and risk-based partnership models.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and drive; understands how to intelligently use resources (i.e., capital and talent) to realize vision and see it through to success

  • Relationship-oriented, people-centric, high EQ and executive presence with strong communication and board-level presentation skills.

  • Ability to travel nationally to meet prospective and existing clients

  • Comfortable with high pressure for execution on complex deals

  • Proactive doer who thrives in autonomous environment

  • Strong communicator who can distill complex ideas and datasets into clear, actionable insights for both clients and team members

For Colorado, Nevada, New York, and Washington DC-based employment: In accordance with the Pay Transparency laws, the salary range for this position is $240,000-255,000. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, financial, generous PTO, stipends for professional development, and wellness benefits. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. The range listed only applies to Colorado, Nevada, New York, and Washington DC.
