Overview

Private Equity Summer Analysts
for opportunities at top global and boutique private equity firms. These internships are designed for ambitious students who excel in high-pressure, fast-paced environments, possess strong analytical and quantitative skills, and are eager to gain hands-on experience in evaluating, executing, and managing investments that drive long-term value creation across industries.

Responsibilities

  • Support investment teams in the evaluation and execution of leveraged buyouts, growth equity, and other private equity transactions
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models, including LBO analyses, operating forecasts, and sensitivity scenarios
  • Conduct in-depth industry and company research to identify attractive investment opportunities and assess competitive positioning
  • Assist in preparing investment committee materials, including memos, presentations, and valuation summaries
  • Participate in due diligence processes, reviewing company financials, operations, management teams, and strategic initiatives
  • Monitor portfolio company performance, tracking KPIs, financial results, and market developments
  • Collaborate with associates, vice presidents, and partners across deal execution and portfolio management activities

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate student (rising junior or senior) pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • Strong academic performance with demonstrated quantitative and analytical ability
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling techniques (LBO modeling experience is a plus)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information clearly
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for investing
  • Prior internship or relevant experience in investment banking, consulting, or finance-related fields is highly valued
