The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development and sales, with a focus on the HVAC Service industry. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving growth for the
company.
Key Responsibilities: - Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities within the HVAC Service sector. - Develop and execute strategies to generate new leads and prospects through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking events. - Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target industries. - Conduct meetings and presentations to promote the company's services and value propositions to potential clients. - Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics. - Create and deliver compelling sales pitches and proposals tailored to the needs of prospective clients. - Follow up on leads and opportunities to convert them into successful agreements / projects. - Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities. - Analyze client needs and preferences to inform sales strategies and service offerings. - Work with the estimating and project management teams to develop accurate and competitive proposals. - Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, and sales activities in the company's CRM system - Prepare regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and sales performance. - Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the sales process. - Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner. - Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, estimating, and project management, to ensure alignment and support for business development efforts. - Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to represent the company and build awareness. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. - Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the HVAC Service or mechanical contracting industry. - Experience mentoring/ overseeing junior business development representatives. - Proven track record of generating leads, closing deals, and achieving sales targets. - Strong understanding of HVAC services and industry dynamics. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. - Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
