About the Role
Are you a student interested in healthcare, administration, or customer service? Join our team as a Patient Access Representative, where you'll be the first point of contact for patients and families entering our facility. What You'll Do

• Greet patients and visitors with a friendly, professional attitude

• Register patients for appointments, procedures, or hospital admissions

• Verify patient information and insurance coverage

• Collect co-pays and ensure accurate billing information

• Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate departments

• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines

• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow

Job Description

What We're Looking For

•    Current college student (preferably in healthcare, business, or related area)

•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

•    Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment

•    Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, data entry)

•    Positive attitude and professional demeanor

•    Availability to work evenings, weekends, or flexible shifts

Preferred but Not Required

•    Previous experience in customer service, retail, or administrative work

•    Familiarity with medical or insurance terminology
