The Hypersonics Advanced Programs Organization is looking for a Project Engineer to support the Systems Engineering and Flight Sciences Analysis Teams to execute a research and development flight test demonstration project. In this role, your responsibilities may include:
- Support managing the execution of multiple analysis and verification efforts simultaneously
- Support arcjet and structural ground test planning, procurement, integration, and execution
- Drive schedule integration for the Systems Engineering and Flight Sciences Analysis teams with all organizations across the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
- Schedule meetings, maintain agendas, document notes and meeting minutes, and track action items
- Transfer data between networks
- Support formal subsystem technical interchange meetings and system design reviews
- Support maintenance of budgets and resource allocations
- Participate in interdisciplinary engineering efforts as part of a hypersonic development project, necessitating adaptability and flexibility in response to evolving program requirements and timelines across geographically dispersed locations
- Use your excellent communication skills to promote a positive teamwork culture

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience as a project engineer, systems engineer, project manager, or program planner
- Adept at developing PowerPoint slides and briefing customers in formal meetings
- Adept at MS Excel and MS Project
- Active or Current DoD Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Experience as a project engineer on a missile development and flight test program
- Experience in flight sciences, missile performance analysis, and systems engineering
- Experience writing technical documents on requirements, analysis results, test data, and verification data
- Familiar with analysis tools and methods including Matlab, CFD, FEA, aerodynamics, shock and vibration, heat transfer, etc.
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and Cost Account Manager (CAM)
- Experience establishing partnerships across multi-disciplinary engineering teams, suppliers, customers, and program management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Experience planning multiple test events

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
